These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Grammar AI Lab ("GAIL," "we," "us," or "our"), an AI-assisted language service operated from Bangkok, Thailand. By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. The Service
GAIL provides AI-assisted grammar correction, translation, rewriting, vocabulary enhancement, and related language features. We reserve the right to update, modify, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue any features, usage limits, or availability of the Service as it develops. Certain features may be offered in beta and may not operate without interruption or as intended.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use the Service. This is GAIL's minimum account age requirement and does not imply that users aged 13 can independently give valid legal consent to personal data processing or enter into binding contracts in every jurisdiction. Where applicable law requires parental or legal guardian authorization, you must obtain it prior to using the Service.
Account Security: You must provide accurate and complete information when registering, maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials, and promptly notify us of any unauthorized use or security breach. You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account, except to the extent caused by our failure to maintain appropriate technical security.
Prohibited Practices: You must not misrepresent your age or identity, or create multiple free accounts to circumvent usage limits or quotas.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service strictly in a lawful, responsible, and authorized manner. You must not:
Use the Service to violate any applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations, or infringe upon the rights of others.
Submit any content that you do not possess the necessary rights, permissions, or lawful authority to submit.
Attempt to bypass, disable, or circumvent rate limits, usage quotas, security measures, bot detection mechanisms, or access controls.
Access or attempt to access another user's account or private data without explicit authorization.
Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, scrape, resell, sublicense, or provide unauthorized commercial access to the Service.
Use the Service to generate, create, or distribute abusive, harassing, deceptive, malicious, or infringing material.
4. User Content
Definition and Ownership: "User Content" includes text, documents, prompts, instructions, and any other materials you submit to the Service. You retain all your ownership rights in your User Content.
License Grant: By submitting User Content, you grant GAIL a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, reproduce, and otherwise use your User Content solely as reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service, in accordance with our Privacy Policy and your account settings.
Your Responsibilities: GAIL claims no ownership over your User Content. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have all necessary rights, permissions, and lawful bases to submit User Content and request its processing. Do not submit confidential, highly sensitive, legally regulated, or third-party personal information unless you have a legitimate, lawful reason and appropriate authority to do so.
5. AI Processing and Output
Third-Party AI Providers: GAIL utilizes various third-party AI service providers to process User Content and generate requested results. Whether a specific feature's provider uses submitted content for model training varies by feature (some do, while others explicitly exclude it). Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information regarding AI processing categories.
Nature of AI Outputs: AI-generated outputs may occasionally contain errors, omissions, inaccuracies, biases, or inappropriate suggestions. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all outputs before relying on them, publishing them, submitting them, or using them for professional, academic, or critical decisions. We do not guarantee that outputs will be accurate, complete, original, appropriate, or fit for any particular purpose. Similar or identical outputs may be generated for other users.
6. Plans, Usage Limits, and Payment
Free accounts. Free and unverified accounts are subject to daily request limits, monthly character limits, and feature restrictions as displayed within the Service.
Paid plans. Paid plans are one-time purchases for a fixed term, not recurring subscriptions. They do not renew automatically and no payment method is stored for future charges.

Term and expiry. A plan term is added as calendar months from the date of purchase. Where the target month has no matching day, the term ends on the last day of that month. Your exact expiry date is always shown on your Billing and Usage pages.
Usage cycles. Monthly character and image allowances reset on the anniversary day of your first payment, not on the first day of the calendar month. Daily request limits reset at midnight Bangkok time (UTC+7).
Reaching your monthly limit. If you reach your monthly character allowance before your cycle ends, your account is not cut off. Requests continue using our standard model with a smaller daily character allowance, and only the polished-sentence output is returned, until your next cycle begins.
Upgrades. You may upgrade to a higher plan at any time. The remaining value of your current plan is converted into days on the new plan at the new plan’s daily rate. Upgrades require no additional payment beyond the new plan’s price, and downgrades are not supported.
Renewal. Purchasing the same plan again before expiry adds the new term to the end of your current term.
Refunds. You may request a full refund within 14 days of your first payment. This applies to a first purchase only, not to upgrades or renewals, and is limited to one refund per user. Card payments are refunded through our payment processor; PromptPay payments are refunded by manual transfer. Once a refund is issued, your account returns to the Free plan immediately and paid features are no longer available. We reserve the right to permanently decline refunds where the same card or PromptPay identifier has received three refunds.
Account deletion during the refund period. While you remain eligible for a refund, account deletion is unavailable. Request your refund first, then delete your account.
Taxes and currency. All prices are in Thai Baht and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise at checkout.
Free accounts are subject to daily, monthly, or feature-based limits as displayed within the Service. If paid subscription plans, credits, or commercial tiers are introduced, the applicable pricing, billing cycles, cancellation terms, taxes, and refund policies will be clearly presented prior to payment and shall supplement these Terms.
7. Suspension, Termination, and Deletion
Termination by You: You may delete your account at any time through available account settings or by contacting our support team.
Suspension or Termination by Us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created a security risk, engaged in fraudulent activities, or failed to meet eligibility requirements (including minimum age rules).
Data Retention Post-Termination: Upon account deletion, active access ceases immediately. However, certain data may be retained for a limited period in backups, security logs, or as required by law, consistent with our Privacy Policy. We do not guarantee instantaneous deletion from every technical system where it is not technically or legally feasible.
8. Intellectual Property Rights
The Service, including its underlying software, algorithms, user interface, design, branding, documentation, and all associated intellectual property rights (excluding User Content), is owned by or licensed to GAIL and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. Except as expressly permitted in writing by GAIL, you may not copy, modify, distribute, create derivative works from, or exploit any portion of the Service materials.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, GAIL EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY, AND ERROR-FREE OPERATION. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS SHALL EXCLUDE OR LIMIT RIGHTS OR WARRANTIES THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL GAIL, ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY (CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE). GAIL'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO GAIL (IF ANY) FOR THE SERVICE IN THE PAST TWELVE (12) MONTHS.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may modify or update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Service, technological advancements, industry practices, or legal requirements. When we make updates, we will post the revised version with a new effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional prominent notice. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your formal acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law and Contact Information
Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Thailand, without regard to its conflict of law principles, except where mandatory local consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
